CURRENCY
Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted in Turkey. You can visit an ATM and withdraw local currency to have on hand, especially if visiting small shops or cafes, as they are generally cash only. The Grand Bazaar is also cash only. Don't keep high amounts of cash on your person, as this will make you a higher target for theft.
TIPPING
A tip of 10% - 15% is considered appropriate at most restaurants. You can leave it in cash on the table or ask the waiter to add it to the bill. You should always tip your hotel staff and porters a few lira whenever you use their services. You should also tip your tour guides (20-40 for a full day).

ACCESSIBILITY
Many Turkish cities and historic buildings were founded thousands of years ago. Modifying them for travelers with special needs can be difficult, time-consuming and expensive. Though accessible travelers shouldn't have an issue at the airport, hotels, or getting transportation, the streets themselves are uneven and the walkways are often blocked by vendor merchandise.
