The Colosseum, the heart of the Costa Smeralda, spanning three decks at the centre of the ship, dedicated to the finest in entertainment. The Piazza di Spagna: a grand open air staircase overlooking the stern. Things to do if you arrive on an early morning flight to Rome:

The Leonardo Express is a train that goes from the airport directly to Roma Termini station, the main train station in Rome. It takes about 32 minutes. You can buy a ticket from the airport train station at self service machines. The cost is typically €14 pp one way. From the Roma Termini station you can easily use the subway to visit many sites in Rome. You can use contactless payment for the subway by tapping your credit /debit card or smartphone at the turnstiles. It will automatically deduct the fare. Another way to see Rome from Termini is with the Hop on Hop Off buses with audtio guides. From The Roma Termini Station you can purchase a ticket and explore at your leisure.
