CURRENCY
Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted in France. Most debit cards are also accepted. You can visit an ATM to withdraw local currency, which is highly recommend as most purchases under 20 euro are cash only, especially at street vendors.
TIPPING
15% is automatically included as a service charge in French restaurants by law. This fee is usually indicated on the menu or the final bill with the phrase “service compris.” If you feel you had excellent service, you can leave a couple extra euro on the table. It is customary to tip 5-10% to tour guides, luggage handlers, room service, etc.

ACCESSIBILITY
Many destinations in France are accessible, but it is good to do your research beforehand to verify (e.g. calling your hotel before booking). Most sidewalks are smooth and without cobblestone. *Note that the tunnel leading under the road to the Arch de Triomphe is only accessible by stairs.
