CURRENCY
It is highly recommended to use Euros when buying anything in Greece. Any debit/credit card payments will be charged a transaction fee. A good practice is to visit an ATM before leaving the airport. Keep in mind, many of the islands do not have ATMs so make sure you have enough cash before you visit them.
TIPPING
Tipping is optional, but not obligatory. Check your menu/receipt to see if a service charge was already added. If so, many people will just round up their total to the nearest ten euros for a tip. Keep in mind, wages are like that of the US and many servers rely on tips as their income.

ACCESSIBILITY
Greece’s islands are not very accommodating to those with disabilities, with many of them showcasing stairs, cobble streets, and stone walkways. It is recommended to book any tour reservations early, as places with disability accommodations book up quickly.
